Our customer is a renowned university providing superior undergraduates and postgraduates academic services. The leadership team of our customer considers Information Technology as a key enabler to maintain competitive advantage.

The Challenge

The executives of our customer need to implement a strategy to gradually switch to hybrid work model that supports a blend of in-office and remote workers while providing people with the flexibility to choose where and how they’ll work. This strategy was developed to optimize the operation cost and to have more resilience in case of disaster. Apparently, all eyes are directed at the IT department to make that happen. The IT team is not sure if their technology infrastructure is ready for this direction.

Our security experts work with the customer to explore the potential vulnerabilities that may be exposed due to switching to a hybrid workplace to provide a proactive remediation plan.

From another perspective, we work with our customer to explore relative cloud platforms and software-as-a-service offerings that could be fitting within the Hybrid Workplace IT strategy.

Connectivity will remain the underlying platform. Without a properly designed and implemented connectivity, the performance of hybrid workplace will be sub-optimal. In our assessment, we work with the customer to analyze the existing connectivity to evaluate whether extra capacity should be provisioned.
