Design a country-wide IP MPLS network to interconnect our customer branches to enable them of providing value-added services to subscribers.
Customer Overview
- Our customer is a national landline operator in North Africa.
- They provide landline services to millions of subscribers.
Business Challenge
- Our customer’s branches are interconnected via a network with many single points of failures and sub-optimal design.
- The current infrastructure does not support our customer in providing value-added services to subscribers.
How We Helped
Our team has worked to develop a blueprint design for our customer for a new countrywide IP MPLS network that can be used to interconnect our customer’s branches and to provide communication services to the subscribers. The solution was mainly based on Cisco ASR routers of different models. The blueprint design covered the solution’s technical aspects such as topology, addressing, OSPF IGP routing, MP-BGP, IP MPLS, Layer 3 VPN, Layer 2 VPN and Quality of Services (QoS).
