Project Scope

Our Customer implements a network and data center infrastructure for its premises in Sinai. Additionally, Our Customer implementing Cisco Unified Communication and Telepresence endpoints to expand the reach of the university’s offerings and to deploy the right solution to connect its students, faculty, and staff.

Customer Overview

Our Customer is a private university in Sinai, Egypt. It was established in 2006. The significance of establishing a university, including research centers, especially in the North of Sinai, is not only due to the lack of such universities in this area but also to the special importance of having a world-class education to support the economic development of the region and to tie the Egyptian economy to the changes and to help transform the international economic system in the 21st century.

Solution

We worked closely with our customer team to plan, design and deploy the network and data center solutions for their new campus in Sinai. The network was built on Cisco 6807 switches as core switches aggregating the several network segments as well as Cisco Unified Computing B-series system providing superior computing power to support the educational applications.



Cisco Unified Communications manager is the core of Cisco Collaboration portfolio infrastructure, Cisco Unified Communications Manager is a unified communications call control platform that can deliver the right experience to the right endpoint.



Cisco Unity Connection robust unified messaging and voicemail solution provides users with flexible message access options keeping the Users Mailboxes with redundancy deployment.



Cisco Unified IM & Presence deployed to provide presence status for users and the user’s contacts, Instant Messaging, listen to user’s Voice Mails and easily showing colleagues presentations and controlling others desktops.



Cisco Expressway offer users outside firewall simple, highly secure access to all collaboration workloads, including video, voice, content, IM, and presence. Collaborates with people who are on third-party systems and endpoints or in other companies. Helps teleworkers and Cisco Jabber mobile users work more effectively on their device of choice.
