Project Scope
A higher education institute requested conducting a Network Audit & Assessment and Configuration/Design review (Quality Assurance) according to Cisco’s Best Practices. Findings were reported to our customer with our remediation plan.
Customer Overview
The university was established in 1967 as a national university aiming at spreading higher education in the western area of Saudi Arabia. The university witnessed much development in quality and quantity since it was established until it becomes one of the distinguished universities in terms of the number of students, the number of scientific and theoretical fields of study and the exclusiveness of certain specializations such as Seas Sciences, Geology, Nuclear Engineering, Medical Engineering, Meteorology and Aviation and Mineralization.
Solution
Due to the increased application requirements, the university needed to conduct a Network Audit, Assessment and Configuration/Design review (Quality Assurance) as per Cisco’s Best Practices. This mission targeted identifying the current findings, remediation plan and areas for improvement.
In this proposal, we offered to conduct this assessment on samples of the current Network Infrastructure located in the university’s main campus in Jeddah. This was done through our managed service, as we had our resident CCIE Engineer for 1 year working on this task along with running operations.
