How We Helped
Our team and Cisco Advanced Services team worked together along with our customer to design and implement a state-of-the-art NGN IP MPLS network to carry the GSM traffic and to provide added value services. The solution was based on Cisco GSR routers running Cisco IOS-XR. The design blueprint covered the technical aspects such as topology, addressing, ISIS IGP routing, MP-BGP, IP MPLS, Layer 3 VPN, Layer 2 VPN and Quality of Services (QoS). The migration activities were carefully planned to gradually migrate the GSM services from legacy infrastructure to the new IP MPLS core.
